I’ve been doing an EEG-research, measuring people’s brainwaves when they’re reading certain kinds of sentences. I can get ridiculously excited about it but most people tend to find it quite boring, so I’ll spare you the details ;) Let’s leave it at the fact that we’ve been getting some pretty cool results.

I’ve read One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest for my English class and it’s been one of my favourites ever since. I’ve read 1984 as well, but none of the others. I’m going to clear out the library soon!

Have you read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers? Loved it. Too bad it’s not on the list, I definitely think it deserves a spot.

Hm… books that you definitely should read this summer? The last one I read (apart from Harry Potter because I’m re-reading all those) was Pop Apocalypse by Lee Konstantiou. It was pretty good. My favorite books ever are probably The Bell Jar, On The Road, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Fahrenheit 451, The Yellow Wallpaper, and 1984. If you’ve read those, let me know and I’ll try and think of more.

I’m working hard on my thesis right now so I don’t have much time. But I’ve got ‘Madame Bovary’ and ‘Anna Karenina’ lying here on top of my “to read” stack.
