Southern, but not by birth, I use the word “ya’ll” way too much. Having lived in four different states, I’m currently studying fashion in New York City. But don’t expect a fashion blog. While I love couture and clothes like no other, the Internet is a nice place to get away from it all. Although my classmates wear 5 inch heels to class, I save mine for the weekends. Sarcastic and good at making excuses for people who don’t really need them, I’ll try to entertain you with my tales of city-living versus the good old South, which may indeed rise again.

I am ridiculously and unapologetically obsessed with Top Gear and have devoted many a post to the magic that is the show. I tend to have somewhat inappropriate infatuations with men who are unfailingly in their thirties (or even in their forties). I despise most chick flicks and have an undying love for action movies. Rarely can I manage to enter a bookstore without purchasing at least one book. Furthermore, I have a list of 1001 books I plan on reading before I die, along with any other good book that comes my way. My favorite building in Manhattan is the Empire State Building because I can see it from my window if I’m angled just right. I should probably get out more.
